The Heckler & Koch G28 rifle scope completely consists of a Schmidt & Bender 3-20x50 PMII rifle scope modified for the Bundeswehr on an ERA-TAC (Recknagel) mount with attached ERA-TAC Picatinny rails, an ERA-TAC Sun visor for the reflex sight and the Aimpoint Micro T-1 red dot sight as well as the original honeycomb filter.

Heckler & Koch  / Schmidt & Bender OEM rifle scope 3-20x50 PM II:
The OEM rifle scope was manufactured exclusively for Heckler & Koch to meet the requirements of the Bundeswehr G28 contract and is therefore not available from Schmidt & Bender's regular range. The differences are, for example, that the ballistic engravings on the altitude turret are in meters from 100 to 800m with 1 click = 1cm at 100m. The seals of the rifle scope were changed based on BW requirements in order to withstand the most adverse weather conditions even better. The most striking changes to the original S&B 3-20x50 PMII are the “Made for HK” imprint on the rifle scope body and the reticle modified for Bundeswehr snipers, which is based on the S&B P4FL. The rifle scope is manufactured exclusively in the G28 weapon color RAL8000.

The aim is to offer the user the greatest possible flexibility. Thanks to its very extensive total adjustment range of 260 cm, it can also be used over long distances. The elevation and side towers are equipped with locking functions and a single turn with a tactile 2nd level. This system means that no unwanted adjustment of the height and side towers is possible. The tactile double turn and the tactile 10-position detent (MTC) are intended to reduce and avoid stress-related incorrect conditions. The rifle scope also has parallax compensation from 25 m to infinity. The illumination setting of the reticle ranges from night vision to dusk to daylight.

Aimpoint Micro T-1:
With the Aimpoint Micro-T1, Aimpoint is bringing a sight onto the market that offers the full performance and function of a large red dot sight, but in a much lighter and more compact form.

The Aimpoint Micro T-1 was developed for use with night vision devices. Weighing only 110g and including the integrated MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny/Weaver mount, the Aimpoint can be mounted on almost any weapon or as an addition to larger rifle scopes, night or thermal vision devices. The red dot sight has 4 levels for use with night vision devices and 8 levels for daytime use, one level of which is to be used in particularly bright lighting conditions, such as in desert-like landscapes.

ERA-TAC / Recknagel mount:
The assemblies for the rifle scope/reflex sight combination come from Recknagel and are also of very high quality. These assemblies are also OEM products that were manufactured specifically for Heckler & Koch's Bundeswehr G28 order and therefore cannot be obtained from the manufacturing company.
