For over 65 years, we are specialists in the processing of optical glass, and our goal is to create quality opto-mechanical devices for you. Our concern is to improve what is good, to provide high quality products that preserve their characteristics over time. 

IOR was founded in 1936 and is the only Romanian company with tradition in designing and manufacturing opto-mechanical equipment. In 1941, the IOR is militarized and will mainly produce products for the army (binoculars, eyeglasses, telemeters, etc.).
