The development history of the High Power line is almost as unusual as the riflescopes themselves. When the USSOCOM was looking for a new riflescope for shooting at extreme distances, Schmidt & Bender provided the perfect solution - they wanted a 9x zoom and they got a 9x zoom. The 5-45x56 PM II High Power is the latest addition to the High Power line. Apart from the unusual magnification range, the ultra-slim and functional turrets are the main feature of this giant among long range riflescopes.
Ultra flat lockable (LT) Double Turn (DT) elevation turret with visual and tactile revolution indicator and More Tactile Clicks (MTC) function
This ultra flat Double Turn turret enables shooting with two eyes open and is perfect for an additional piggybacked aiming device such as a red dot sight. Marks and numbers are in MRAD. The number “1” is standing for 1 MRAD which is 10 cm/100 m. The second revolution is indicated by a yellow-colored pin which is both visual and tactile. It appears out of the top of the turret and correlates to the yellow digits. This turret features the Generation I (Gen I) locking function.
