The development history of the High Power line is almost as unusual as the riflescopes themselves. When the USSOCOM was looking for a new riflescope for shooting at extreme distances, Schmidt & Bender provided the perfect solution - they wanted a 9x zoom and they got a 9x zoom. The 5-45x56 PM II High Power is the latest addition to the High Power line. Apart from the unusual magnification range, the ultra-slim and functional turrets are the main feature of this giant among long range riflescopes.
Lockable (LT) Multi Turn II (MT II) elevation turret with visual revolution indicator, More Tactile Clicks (MTC) function and Sub-Zero Clicks (SZC)
This turret provides not only a wide adjustment range via 5 revolutions but is also offering a fine and precise adjustment of 0.5 cm per click. A finer click value adjustment enables precise zeroing and more accurate shooting. Marks and numbers are in cm and 2 Sub-Zero Clicks (SZC) are available. The number “5” is standing for 0.5 MRAD which is 5 cm/100 m. Only every 5 cm step is engraved for better reading. To keep orientation easy, every second revolution is engraved in yellow-colored digits. In order to be able to recognize the exact revolution position, the turret is equipped with a visual indicator and counts the revolution by displaying the corresponding revolution in numerical fashion 1 to 5 in the window atop.
